Customize Images
There are several types of images which may be customized for display on the Kiosk.
Customizing Credit Card Images
By default, Kiosk Client comes with several images for some credit card types which are common worldwide. They are stored typically under C:\Program Files (x86)\Kiosk Client\CreditCardImages (path may be different if Kiosk is installed in other path than the default one).
Each credit card image file should be in PNG format, with the file name corresponding to the Credit Card Type Code that is seen under Credit Card Types page in Kiosk Admin or provided by the PMS vendor such as Opera OPI. when the PMS is controlling the payment.
If you need to add new CC images, or change some of existing ones, you need to copy the PNG file having the desired image, to a folder named CreditCardImagesunder C:\ProgramData\NEC\kiosk\Custom, following the name convention described above.
If a CC type does not have a corresponding image in the custom or in the installation folder, the Kiosk Client will show the CC description for that CC type, as defined in the Credit Card Types page in Kiosk Admin.
Customizing the hotel package images
By default, Kiosk Client comes with several images for some demo packages. They are stored typically under C:\Program Files (x86)\Kiosk Client\PackageImages (path may be different if Kiosk is installed in other path than the default one).
Each package image file should be in PNG format, with the file name corresponding to the Hotel Package Code that is seen under Hotel Packages page in Kiosk Admin.
If you need to add new package images, or change some of existing ones, you need to copy the PNG file having the desired image, to a folder named PackageImagesunder C:\ProgramData\NEC\kiosk\Custom, following the name convention described above.
If a package does not have a corresponding image in the custom or in the installation folder, the Kiosk Client will show the DEFAULT.png image (from the installation folder) instead. If you want another default image, you just have to copy your custom DEFAULT.png image in the C:\ProgramData\NEC\kiosk\Custom\PackageImages folder.
Since Kiosk Application is supporting portrait mode there are cases (number of rows/columns in System Settings → Hotel Packages and number of upselling packages) when aspect ratio of images does not fit perfectly. Because of flexibility of displaying options there are cases when images suited for landscape mode does not fit perfectly and can look stretched or squished, as well number of rows of package description can affect the layout:
As we can see image aspect ratio are not suited for portrait mode. To fix this problem it is advised to use a suitable aspect ratio of used images, keeping in mind, number of packages and as well Display Settings of Hotel Packages in Admin (Global Settings).

Customizing the membership images
By default, Kiosk Client comes with a single membership image for demo packages. It is stored typically under C:\Program Files (x86)\Kiosk Client\MembershipImages (path may be different if Kiosk is installed in other path than the default one).
Each membership image file should be in PNG format, with the file name corresponding to the Membership Code that is seen under Membership page in Kiosk Admin.
If you need to add new membership images, or change some of existing ones, you need to copy the PNG file having the desired image, to a folder named MembershipImages under C:\ProgramData\NEC\kiosk\Custom, following the name convention described above.
If a package does not have a corresponding image in the custom or in the installation folder, the Kiosk Client will show the corresponding membership description, as defined in the Membership page in Kiosk Admin.
If your particular installation needs only one membership, then you do not actually need to define any images. Since there is only one membership, the system will always use this membership code when looking up reservations by membership number.
